Life Stories

This Sunday's sermon was really good.
It was on life stories.
It's really got me thinking about my own life story this week.
If you had to write your life story on cardboard what would it say?
One side of the board would say what you struggled with and on the other side would be how God intervened and changed you.

She's a boy!

Daniel and I feel REALLY silly right now. We just realized that our puppy is a boy! We do have excuses...when we got to the breader last night we asked "where are the girls?" and the lady directed us to a box. We took the two girls out, let them run around, and as we tried to assess their personalities the owners talked with us non-stop. We decided we liked "her" and did our best to get out of their quickly before it got any later. Well, to sum things up...we realized tonight that this puppy has a penis. It's a boy!

So we decided it was time to get Ruffus a sister. We went back to the same breader and found this little cutie. She is Ruffus' neice and was born on his 3rd birthday! Yes, I know it was meant to be!

She thinks I'm a good cook.

I think we're in love again...

Canopy Tour

We are in Costa Rica this week!!
Today we went zipping like monkeys from tree to tree.
Zip lining has definitly topped anything I have ever experienced!

Our tour lasted almost 2 hours and we stopped at 15 platforms!

Daniel and I crossing a suspending bridge.

All of us on one of the platforms.

So happy to land safely at the other side.

Here is a video of one of Daniel's rides.

Feeling so blessed today to be in such a beautiful country. Looking forward to more adventures tomorrow!

For the past 2 years my sister Sarah has lived with us while she worked on completing her master's degree.
This day seemed so far away but now it's here...

I am so proud of all she has accomplished.

Now as I post this I'm a little sad...
sad that our time with her is almost gone.

My favorite quote during the ceremony:

"Live as if you were to die tomorrow.
Learn as if you were to live forever..."
